They absolutely saved my life I went to see them after I had just seen another Dr. When I found out my insurance didn't pay they lied to me so I called around and found this place, first eye care, made an appointment. They took my insurance and diagnosed me with severed case of cataracts when the other places didn't even mention it! Â Â I went to see a eye surgeon and got my cataracts operated and my eye sight is back. Thank you First Eye Care, I owe you my life!

What a nice refreshing experience I had going to First Eye Care. The staff was so friendly and helpful. There was no waiting for my appointment. Dr. Stout could not have been more helpful in explaining my eye progress. It was nice to have someone so reassuring and knowledgeable on my prognosis. What a breath for fresh air. We found out that my then 5-yr old son needed glasses when he had an eye exam done at school. We brought him to 1st eye care in Grand Prairie. Everything was great for him up until the Puffer Test, machine that suddenly blows air in your eye, it just terrified him. Everyone was so patient & understanding as I calmed him down. The staff is great! My son will be 7-yrs old and we still come to this location. Absolutely recommend 1st Eye Care in Grand Prairie, Dr Nguyen & wonderful staff!
Dr. Stout is very kid friendly. My daughter is very apprehensive and can be very difficult to deal with, but Dr. Stout calmed her down immediately. The last O.D. she had wasn't very kid friendly @ all. Her 1st visit there was her last. I informed the receptionist that she was very apprehensive and asked if the Dr kid friendly?, she stated yes and assured me so. I was in disbelief until Dr. Stout walked into the room introduced himself to both of us. He explained each procedure to her and also the importance of each. She did well and he coached her right through each step and the appointment was a success. I'm 1 happy Mom. The assistant was AWESOME as well.

In 2012 I visited the office for years later an eye checkup. The service was great and I returned 3 years later as I had problems with my left eye. The Doctor quickly had me see a retina specialist who corrected the problem. Had it not been for the Doctor I might have lost vision in that eye. I am still following up and would definitely recommend First Eye Care.
My family and I have been going here for about 3 years and I couldn't have found a better eye doctor. The Doctor is so patient and good with my kids. Office staff is great also. Always have an answer to any of my questions.
